Shri Anil Kumar Singh Joins NALCO as Director (Commercial)

New Delhi: National Aluminium Company Limited (NALCO), a Government of India enterprise, announced the appointment of Shri Anil Kumar Singh as Director (Commercial) on its Board, effective 7 January 2026.

Shri Singh, a graduate in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from BIT Sindri, brings over 35 years of experience in commercial operations within the metals industry. Prior to joining NALCO, he served as General Manager (Materials & Contracts) and I/c – HR at Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL). His extensive experience spans materials management, marketing, contract management, procurement, and MSME compliance, making him a strategic addition to NALCO’s leadership team.

The appointment aligns with NALCO’s focus on enhancing operational efficiency, material management, and strategic commercial initiatives. Shri Singh’s tenure as Director (Commercial) will continue until his superannuation on 30 September 2028, or until further orders from the Ministry of Mines, whichever is earlier.

With this addition, NALCO’s Board now comprises experienced professionals overseeing production, finance, HR, and commercial functions, ensuring strong governance and operational excellence in India’s aluminium sector.
