Zaigham Ali Khan takes charge as Chief Vigilance Officer of Rail Vikas Nigam Limited
Shri Zaigham Ali Khan is a 1998 batch officer of IRAS. He has done B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Masters in Financial Management and also holds a degree in Law.
New Delhi: Shri Zaigham Ali Khan, IRAS, EDV(Accts.), Railway Board has assumed the additional charge of Chief Vigilance Officer of RVNL for a period of six months from the date of assumption of charge of the post or till the appointment of a regular CVO in RVNL or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
He assumed the Charge as CVO on 07.07.2025.
Accordingly, he shall be considered as the part of Senior Management Personnel of the Company w.e.f. 07th July, 2025.
Shri Zaigham Ali Khan is a 1998 batch officer of IRAS. He has done B.Tech in Computer Engineering, Masters in Financial Management and also holds a degree in Law.
He started his career as ADFM/BCT, Western Railway and served in various positions in Mumbai and Baroda before moving to the Ministry of External Affairs as Regional Passport Officer, Ahmedabad.

He was instrumental in switching over the Passport Operations in Gujarat from manual system to digital system through implementation of Passport Seva Kendra (PSK) system in Gujarat. After completing his four-year tenure there, he moved to Chief Minister’s Office in Gujarat as Officer on Special Duty (Railways).
There, he set up three Public Sector Undertakings namely GARUD, G-RIDE and BRCL and was the founder shareholder cum Director (Finance and Business Development) in all three companies.
In 2019, he joined South East Central Railway as FACAO Construction and in January 2022, he took over as Executive Director, Vigilance Accounts in Ministry of Railways, New Delhi.
