Banking operations are allowed on Saturdays said West Bengal government
New Delhi: The government of West Bengal allowed the banks to operate the banking functions on Saturdays. The relaxations will be provided but the rules to be followed by the banks to prevent the COVID virus.
Banks are generally operating on the alternative Saturdays where the bankers asked for the weekend shut in the wake of the pandemic but the government decides to remain open on even Saturdays now.
In July order, the government asked banks to declared the Saturdays as holidays. Now the second and fourth Saturday every month will be the bank holiday.
