25th Annual General Meeting At Visakhapatnam
Visakhapatnam: Sri K C Das, Director (Personnel)-RINL, the Chairman of the Computer Society of India, Visakhapatnam Chapter presided over its 25th Annual General Meeting at the Hotel Marriot in Visakhapatnam. Addressing the gathering, he highlighted various activities taken up by the CSI - Visakhapatnam Chapter like organizing Technical Workshops for IT professionals, students interactions on latest trends in IT with eminent professionals. He then enlightened the members about the chalked out plan for various upcoming events to be organised by CSI.
Sri KK Ghosh, Director (Projects)-RINL assumed the ‘Vice chairman cum Chairman Elect’ of the local chapter. Sri Ghosh appealed to members to take up the challenging job of bridging the technology gap in the society and leverage IT for all around development of the country in his address.
Dr B Govardhana Reddy, GM (CMG)-VSP and Secretary of the chapter presented the Annual Report and Sri P Balaramu, Treasurer, tabled the Annual Accounts which was passed by the members. Sri S Gopal, Chairman of the Nomination Committee, announced the Election results and introduced the new Management Committee members. Sri A N Biswal, DGM (IT&ERP)-VSP has been elected as the new Treasurer of the Chapter.
