CERC delegation visits Pakri Barwadih Mines
During the delegation's visit to Ranchi, the team had an interaction with the senior officials of NTPC Coal Mining Region with a brief presentation on NTPC & Coal Mining operations.
New Delhi: A CERC delegation led by Chairperson, Shri Jishnu Barua, IAS (Retd), Central Electricity Regulatory Authority (CERC) visited Coal Mining HQ /NTPC Mining Limited (NML), Ranchi on April 25, 2024.
Sh Shivam Srivastava, Director (Fuel), NTPC & Chairman (NML) hosted the delegation & apprised of the operations & challenges faced in Mining to the CERC delegation in the august presence of Shri Jaishankar Srinivasan, Director (Finance), NTPC.

The delegation visited the NTPC Coal mines to study mining operations. The visit covered Pakri Barwadih viewpoint to have a bird's view of the operation and overburden (OB) area. On the occasion, the members of the delegation interacted with the women dump drivers and encouraged them for making their valuable contributions.
Post mine visit, the CERC team appreciated the efforts made by NTPC for adapting best practices & achieving stellar performance during the recent times under the banner of NTPC Mining Limited (NML).
