NEW DELHI- Shri Bhola Singh, CMD, Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), a Mini Ratna company of the Government of India, visited Bina and Kakri projects of NCL on Wednesday.
Dr. Anindya Sinha, Director (Technical/Operations), NCL was also present on the occasion.
During the mine inspection, CMD NCL laid special emphasis on mine safety and production with protection from Kovid. During his visit to Bina area, CMD gave necessary instructions regarding operation of dragline.
Along with this, emphasis was given on welfare facilities for contract workers and directed the project management to provide better facilities. The outstanding personnel of the project were also awarded on the occasion.
CMD NCL also visited the mine of Kakri project and got to know about the production, dispatch status of the project and discussed the future action plan with the officials.
During this he also visited the northern and southern parts of Kakri and directed the project management to increase the availability of machines.
During this, CMD NCL, while interacting with the personnel, also called for full adherence to Kovid compliant practices in workplace and residential premises for prevention and awareness from Kovid-19.
It is worth noting that the annual production target of NCL's Bina project is 9.5 million tonnes in the current financial year, while the annual production of Kakri project is 2 million tonnes.
