IRCTC Q3 net profit spikes 167%; declares interim dividend

New Delhi: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation registered an increase in Quarter 3rd, on February 8 IRCTC in its December quarter earnings mentioned net profit rising 167.4 percent on-year.
The Profit consolidated net profit for the quarter stood at Rs 209 crore, up from Rs 78.08 crore in the last fiscal year.
"The outbreak of coronavirus pandemic globally and in India is causing significant disturbance and slowdown of economic activity. However, the business activities of the company are going gradually on track in line with the lifting of restrictions as were imposed by the State and Central governments," said IRCTC.
With this IRCTC also declared an interim dividend of Rs 2 per share on a face value of Rs 2 each for FY22. The dividend will be 100 % of the paid-up share capital amounting to Rs 160 crore, it mentioned that Feb 18, 2022, is fixed as the record date for the purpose of payment of lnterim Dividend.
