NTPC played a role of helping hand for disabled people
NTPC country's leading electrical producer has taken many steps for the welfare of disabled people. Nagam is helped for their social and economic development as well as providing an artificial organ for their welfare through NFNDRC.
New Delhi: NTPC played an important role on the occasion of World Disability Day, this day is celebrated on December 3, 1992, aims of eliminating the problems of disabled people in the United Nations and making people worldwide aware of their rights and development.
NTPC country's leading electrical producer has taken many steps for the welfare of disabled people. Nagam is helped for their social and economic development as well as providing an artificial organ for their welfare through NFNDRC. People from 10 districts around NTPC Korba have benefited from this establishment.
Along with artificial organs, the services of counseling of disabled people, information about various schemes of state government and central government, bus and rail concession certificates, disabled certificates, etc. are being provided. Addressing the disabled people present on this occasion, Shri Tripathi Ji encouraged all the divine people and told everyone about how they will move forward in society along with disabilities. Today we are providing artificial organs to 13 disabled people around us and we hope that using these items brings happiness to their lives.
At the same time, Tripathi Ji told that all the offices of NTPC are handicapped, and also provided information about the special facilities being given to the disabled employees. On the occasion, he inspected the disabled rehabilitation center and expressed satisfaction with its maintenance. On this occasion, planted saplings in the medicinal garden being built near the rehabilitation center.
