SAIL bagged 'Environment Protection' award
Steel Authority of India recognized for SAIL's initiatives towards 'Environment Protection' at Greentech Environment Award 2021
New Delhi: Steel Authority of India Limited has bagged the coveted Greentech Environment Award 2021. It is in recognition of SAIL's initiatives towards 'Environment Protection' like power consumption improvement, waste management through 4R's principal, water conservation efforts including zero liquid discharge, emission reduction, material efficiency improvement, climate action initiative and ecological initiatives.
Environment Management Division received the award on behalf of SAIL at the recently held Greentech Sustainability Summit at Mahabalipuram.
