AAI to promote Waste Paper Recycling through AAI Paper Recycling Unit
New Delhi. Airports Authority of India has added another feather to its cap by signing a MOU, with Ministry of Finance, to promote Waste Paper Recycling through AAI Paper Recycling Unit, as part of ‘Swachh Bharat Abhiyan’, wherein, AAI paper recycling unit will recycle the waste paper of Ministry of Finance and will supply recycled paper, produced at the AAI Paper Recycling Unit Vasant Kunj, New Delhi
Chairman AAI, Dr. Guruprasad Mohapatra has signed the MoU with Jt. Secy. Department of Expenditure, Ministry of Finance. The MOU was exchanged recently by Sh.Rakesh Kalra, Regional Executive Director (NR), with Ms. Annie G. Mathew, Jt. Secretary, Department of Expenditure Min. of Finance, in the presence of Union Finance Minister Sh. Arun Jaitely, Finance Secretary, Secretary Dept. of Expenditure and other senior officers of the Ministry of Finance, during a ceremony to mark the beginning of Swachhta Pakhwada and taking Swachhta pledge, at the Ministry of Finance.
AAI Paper Recycling unit is already doing paper recycling for itself, Ministry of Civil Aviation, DGCA, BCAS, CISF, CRPF, Delhi Police and Prime Minister’s Office.
