Air India Ashwani Lohani inugurated two days Inflight Services Leader Seminar at delhi
New Delhi: CMD Air India Ashwani Lohani alongwith other Senior Executives inugurated two days Inflight Services Leader's Seminar in Delhi. The seminar is organised for sharing ideas and brainstorming with IFS leaders to make our onboard services world class.
Ashwani Lohani is a retired officer of Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers. He is presently the Chairman & Managing Director of Air India and has previously been the Chairman of the Railway Board of Indian Railways.Mr. Lohani retired as top bureaucrat of the Railway Board, the apex decision making body of the Ministry of Railways . Considered close to the present regime, he was picked up to run the national airlines after his name was cleared by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
The Indian Foreign Service (IFS) is the administrative diplomatic civil service under Group and Group of the Central Civil Services of the executive branch of the Government of India.It is a Central Civil service as Foreign policy is the subject matter and prerogative of Union Government.The Ambassador, High Commissioner, Consul General, Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations and Foreign Secretary are some of the offices held by the members of this service.
