DMRC Celebrates 30th Foundation Day at Bharat Mandapam

New Delhi: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) celebrated its 30th Foundation Day on May 3, 2024, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The celebration was graced by esteemed dignitaries, including Sh. Anurag Jain, Secretary of the Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs & Chairman of DMRC, Sh. Naresh Kumar, Chief Secretary of the Government of NCT of Delhi, Paramvir Chakra Honorary Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav and Dr. Vikas Kumar, the Managing Director of DMRC.

Additionally, the prestigious Annual Awards were presented to recognize outstanding contributions and dedication. Additionally, the Metro Woman and Man of the Year, Best Station and Best Depot awards were also given away.

This year's winners are:

Metro Woman of the Year: Ms. Priti Kumari, Senior Station Manager

Metro Man of the Year: Shri Md. Abdussueb Ahamad, Head Traffic Controller

Best Metro Station: Botanical Garden Metro Station

Best Metro Depot: Shastri Park Depot

Rajbhasha Puruskar: Shri Gopesh Kumar Verma, Senior Station Manager

Adding a touch of entertainment to the celebration, renowned singer Kavita Krishnamurti Subramaniam and acclaimed stand-up Comedian/Actor Sunil Grover took the stage for an evening filled with laughter and melody.

The 30th Foundation Day Celebration was a momentous occasion to reflect on past achievements, envision the future, and celebrate the collective efforts of all those involved in the journey of DMRC.
