Ashok Leyland appoints Mr. Sanjay V Jorapur as President HR
Mr Amanpreet Singh currently President & Head of HR will move on to a senior role at Hinduja Group in Mumbai.
New Delhi: Ashok Leyland, the Indian flagship Company of the Hinduja Group and India’s leading commercial vehicle manufacturer, today, announced the appointment of Mr Sanjay V Jorapur as President and Head of HR. Mr Amanpreet Singh currently President & Head of HR will move on to a senior role at Hinduja Group in Mumbai.
Speaking on the appointment, Mr Dheeraj G Hinduja, Executive Chairman, said, “I am delighted to announce this appointment. Sanjay joins a strong leadership team and brings close to 3 decades of rich experience to Ashok Leyland. ‘People’ are the foundational pillars for us to achieve our Vision.
Sanjay will drive the People agenda in line with contemporary global practices and steer the Company’s Human Resources strategy in the current transformational context.
Mr Sanjay Jorapur is an HR veteran, with leadership-level experience in Technology, Engineering and Automation domains. He joins Ashok Leyland from HFCL Group where he was President of Group HR.
