Awareness session on preventive vigilance at NTPC Bongaigaon
Shri Anurag Agarwal IPS, Inspector General of Police, BTAD, Kokrajhar graced the occasion as faculty of the session. Shri Agarwal stated that it is the responsibility of every citizen of the country that the system remains stable.
Awareness session on preventive vigilance
Bongaigaon: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week-2020, an awareness session on Preventive Vigilance was conducted in the New Service Building Conference hall at NTPC Bongaigaon on 30.10.2020.
Shri Anurag Agarwal IPS, Inspector General of Police, BTAD, Kokrajhar graced the occasion as faculty of the session. Shri Agarwal stated that it is the responsibility of every citizen of the country that the system remains stable. He underlined the fact that everyone must be vigilant and search for inner happiness. He emphasised corruption has an adverse effect on the society and advised to bring transparency in the system through more digitalisation and allied practices. He appreciated NTPC’s efforts towards vigilance awareness and urged all employees to contribute towards building a transparent and accountable framework.
During the session Shri Rakesh Kumar, CGM, Shri T Ravindar, GM-O&M, Shri HK Brahma, Commandant, CISF, Shri RK Panda, GM-Maint, Shri Umesh Singh, GM-FM, Shri Punamjit Nath, DSP,Kokrajhar, Shri AK Chawla, AGM-HR and HoDs and executives were present. Shri Anurag Agarwal, also visited Unit-1 and Unit-2 control rooms and understood the functioning of the station.
