BEL conducts Session on Vendor Development during CII–ISDA 2021
The Theme for the Summit is “India Marching towards Self Reliance in Defence & Aerospace".
New Delhi: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navratna Defence PSU under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, conducted a Technical Session on Vendor Development during the “Indigenization Summit on Defence & Aerospace (ISDA-2021).
The summit is being organized by the Confederation of India Industry (CII) & Society of Indian Defence Manufacturers (SIDM) in partnership with Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) from 28-31st July 2021 on the HIVE – CII virtual Platform.
The Theme for the Summit is “India Marching towards Self Reliance in Defence & Aerospace". The summit is aimed to bring the leading technologies and innovation in Defence & Aerospace under one roof and provide ample opportunities for Government, Private Manufacturers & Start-ups.
On behalf of BEL, Mr. Manoj Yadav from Corporate Office made a presentation on 30th July 2021 (Friday). The presentation covered various steps being taken by BEL for Self-reliance, Indigenization Process & Framework, Vendor Registration & Vendor Development. BEL’s participation and efforts compliments the Government’s Atma Nirbhar Bharat initiative.
