New Delhi: To give a boost in Defence sector and better aerospace technologies, India's best Defence Public Sector Undertaking, Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) signed an agreement with Saudi Arabia-based company Power For Defense Technologies Co (PDTC).
This is the first time ever where a Saudi based company has been collaborating with India Defence and aerospace technologies company for deeper cooperation. This will be the first step to robust the relation between two countries. PDTC is the company founded by Sheikh Mohammed Mustfa-Zaini Al-Shaibi, a member of AL Shaibi family in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

According to Financial Express, On the agreement, Anil Pant, General Manager International Marketing, Bharat Electronics Limited, stated that there were many technological partnerships in the near future between India and Saudi Arabia. “BEL offers technology products in several areas like Advanced Threat Detection suites with Radar, Coastal Radar System, Drone protection System and much more.”
