BEML observed Rashtriya Ekta Diwas
New Delhi: In order to create an awareness on the importance of National Unity and Security among its employees and neighbours, BEML Limited, a Miniratna Public Sector Undertaking, under the Ministry of Defence observed ‘Rashtriya Ekta Diwas’ (National Unity Day) today in all its Offices and Complexes across the country.
It was celebrated with great enthusiasm with the participation of Senior Management; Executives, Employees and Union representatives across all BEML Complexes.Employees and Executives took a pledge and participated in a Walkathon – ‘Run for Unity’ in large numbers.
Apart from this Blood donation camps, Quiz contest for school children, March past by security personnel were all part of the programme.
This programme is coinciding with the birthday of Shri Sardar Vallaba Bhai Patel. The National Unity Day provided an opportunity to reaffirm the inherent strength and resilience of India to withstand the actual and potential threats to the unity, integrity and security of the Nation.
