BEML Presents Dividend Draft to Raksha Mantri
Bangalore: BEML LIMITED, has paid Dividend to Govt. of India for the year 2016-17 in accordance with the decision taken at the 53rd Annual General Meeting of the Company. For the year 2016-17, BEML has declared a record 80% Dividend from 40% of the previous year which registered highest quantum jump during the last five years.
The Bank Draft has been handed over to Smt. Nirmala Seetharaman, Hon’ble Minister of Defence by Shri Deepak Kumar Hota, Chairman & Managing Director of the Company. Shri Sanjay Prasad, Joint Secretary (LS), Ministry of Defence was also present on the occasion.
Presently, Government of India holds 2.25 Crores equity shares of Rs. 10/- each aggregating to paid-up capital of Rs. 22.50 Crores in BEML.
