Bharat Petroleum signed MoU with Super Group of Bangladesh
Earlier in November 2020, an MOU with Noida Authority was signed for a trial patch of 500 meters long stretch in Sector 129 in Noida, where about 35 tons of plastic was used. The stretch is open to public transportation since November 2020.
New Delhi: Bharat Petroleum signs an MOU with M/s Super Group of Bangladesh for carrying out a pilot trial of waste plastic roads in Bangladesh. Dr. V. Ravikumar, Chief General Manager (R&D), and Mr. Shajir Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director signed the MOU on 16th March 2021.
Dr. Mahesh Kasture, our scientist with our Corporate Research & Development Center, has developed this novel concept of road construction from waste plastic.
