New Delhi: On this occasion analysts from various brokerage houses and institutional investors were invited and briefed on the refining processes followed by a detailed tour of the refinery. Their queries were clarified by Shri Vetsa Ramakrishna Gupta, Director (Finance) and Director (HR), Shri Sanjay Khanna, Director (Refineries) and by other senior colleagues.
Built in 1955, Mumbai Refinery is one of the most versatile refineries in India that excels in aspects such as quality, technology, human relations, safety and environmental friendliness.
With an annual installed capacity of 12 MMT, it offers range of innovative and import substituting products, like 100N Group III Lube Oil, MAK Drillol, Lubes Catalyst, D80 Solvent; and Food & Pharma Grade Hexane, used in packaging.
Center for High Technology, a dedicated technology cell of MOP&NG, has certified Mumbai Refinery as the second most efficient PSU refinery of the country.
