BPCL recognised at 9th edition of India CSR Summit
NEW DELHI- BPCL has been recognised at the 9th edition of India CSR Summit in the category ‘Rural Development and Infrastructure’ for projects with government schools in Arunachal Pradesh, as part of the ‘Border Village Development Program’.
The project involved setting up solar rooftops in around 20 schools of Lohit and Dibang Valley districts of Arunachal Pradesh, where due to difficult terrain, regular electricity supply is not available. More than 500 students from these schools have been benefitted.
Co-hosted by CSR Box and Dalmia Bharat Foundation, India CSR Summit brings together businesses, CSR foundations, government agencies, non-profits, social enterprises, and consultancy firms to network, collaborate, and scale-up activities in the development and impact sectors.
