Chairman CIL Meets Coal Minister of India
Kolkata/New Delhi: Shri Anil Kumar Jha, Chairman, Coal India Limited (CIL) met Shri Pralhad Joshi, newly appointed Minister of Coal & Mines yesterday. Shri Joshi took over as the new Minister of Coal on 31st May 2019. In addition to Coal, he has also been assigned the portfolio of Minister of Parliamentary Affairs and Mines.
Shri Jha, Chairman, CIL congratulated and wished the minister all the very best for his new assignment. Shri Sumanta Chaudhury, Secretary, Ministry of Coal and other Senior Officers were also present on the occasion. Shri Jha briefed the Minister on CIL’s achievements and of its plans ahead. Shri Joshi had a detailed discussion with Shri Jha and said that CIL should endeavour to provide energy security to the country.
