CIL bags CSR AWARD for Rural Development and Infrastructure
New Delhi: CIL has been awarded the ‘CSR Winner Award for Rural Development and Infrastructure’ at the 6th CSR Impact Awards 2018-19. CIL was recognised for the Integrated Rural Development done in Purulia, West Bengal. Shri. Ajoy Kumar Choudhary, GM(CSR), CIL received the award.
This project provided interventions in clean energy, sanitation, agriculture, livelihood and computer-based knowledge creation to 40 villages in Purulia, West Bengal. This project was implemented by TERI.
