NEW DELHI- The 54th Raising Day of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) was celebrated at NLC India Limited, Neyveli on 13.03.2023. Every year, the CISF Unit at NLC India Limited, Neyveli, organizes a celebration of the CISF Raising Day. This year also, the CISF Raising Day was celebrated with customary fervor.
Shri Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD, NLCIL, was the Chief Guest. Shri Digvijay Kumar Singh, DIG, CISF led the proceedings. Shri Suresh Chandra Suman, Director, Mines, NLCIL, Shri L. Chandrasekhar, IFS, CVO, NLC India Limited, Shri Navdeep Singh Heera, CISF Commandant, Shri Rajiv Gupta, Commandant, CISF and other senior officials of NLCIL and CISF were present.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Prasanna Kumar, CMD, NLCIL, said that CISF was the largest Industrial Force in the world. He acclaimed the efforts undertaken by the CISF in providing security to the major government establishments including PSUs across the country and at NLC India Limited. He also appreciated the selfless service and dedication of the CISF personnel and their contribution in the growth of the National Economy.
Earlier, as part of the celebrations, a grand ceremonial parade was organized by the CISF Unit of NLC India Limited, Neyveli which was inspected by Shri Prasanna Kumar, CMD, NLCIL. He lauded the performance of CISF parade personnel. Representing the might and professionalism of CISF, a one Minute Weapon Drill on Weapon Handling was conducted at CISF Fertilizer Camp on the occasion.
