NEW DELHI- Sh. Nand Lal Sharma, Chairman & Managing Director, SJVN inaugurated Main Control Room Premises of 1000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project, Rajasthan during his visit to the project.
On this occasion, Director (Finance) Sh. Akhileshwar Singh, Director (Electrical) Sh. Sushil Sharma along with CEO (SGEL) Sh. S. L. Sharma, CFO(SGEL) Sh. A.M.Jha and Dy. CEO (SGEL) Sh. Ajay Kumar Singh were also present.
1000 MW Bikaner Solar Power Project bagged by SJVN under Central Public Sector Undertaking Scheme Phase-II, Tranche-III (Government Producer Scheme) through competitive bidding is being implemented through its wholly owned subsidiary SJVN Green Energy Limited.
The project is being developed on 5000 Acres on outright purchased land near village Banderwala, district Bikaner of Rajasthan which is one of the highest solar yield areas of the country.
The development cost of the project is Rs 5492 Crores and is scheduled for commissioning by December 2023.
