CMPDI ink an MOA with CIPET; approved Rs. 68 Lakhs for skill development program

Ranchi: An MoA was signed between Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDIL) and Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET): Center for skilling and Technical support (CSTS), Ranchi on 21.12.2021 for “Providing Skill Development Training in the field of the Machine operator to 80 underprivileged/unemployed/underemployed youth from Jharkhand state through CIPET: CSTS” under CSR of CMPDIL(HQ), Ranchi. 

CMPDIL has approved Rs. 68 Lakhs for the skill development program. The MoA was exchanged between Shri Manoj Sahay, GM (HRD/CSR), CMPDIL, and Shri Pravin B.Bachhav, Joint Director & Head, CIPET: CSTS, Ranchi in the august presence of Shri R.N.Jha, D(T/RD&T), CMPDIL CMPDIL. 

Forty beneficiaries would be trained in Machine Operator -Plastics Processing (MO-PP) and forty in Machine Operator -Injection Molding Technology at CPET, Hehal, Ranchi. The minimum educational qualification required for the candidates is Std. 8. The courses will be of a six-month duration, aligned to NSQF (National Skills Qualification Framework) & approved by National Skills Qualification Committee (NSQC) - National Skil Development Agency (NSDA), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India.

On this occasion Smt. Suman Rastogi, CM(P/CSR) were present from CMPDIL while Shri B. Srikar, Senior Technical Officer & Training Incharge; Shri Prem Prakash Nagda, Assistant Technical officer and Shri Shahnawaz Ahmad, Admin. Asst. from CIPET were also present from CIPET: CSTS.
