CMPDI Nagpur inks Agreement with CIPET - Skill Development
New Delhi: A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) was signed between CMPDI, RI-IV, Nagpur and Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and technology (CIPET): Center for skilling and Technical support (CSTS), Chandrapur for “Providing Skill Development in the field of Machine operator to 120 underprivileged/ unemployed/ underemployed youth from Maharashtra state through CIPET: CSTS” under CSR of CMPDI, RI-IV, Nagpur.
The project is being funded by CMPDI, RI-IV, Nagpur under its CSR for F.Y. 2022-23 for 120 students in four batches and has approved Rs. 84 Lakhs for the skill development program. The said MoA has been exchanged between Shri Manoj Kumar, Regional Director, CMPDI, RI-IV, Nagpur and Shri Avneet Kumar Joshi, Director & Head, CIPET: CSTS, Chandrapur.
60 beneficiaries would be trained in Machine Operator -Plastics Processing (MO-PP) and another 60 beneficiaries in Machine Operator -Injection Molding (MO-IM) Technology at CIPET, Chandrapur. The minimum educational qualification required for the candidates is Std. 8.
The courses will be of six-month duration, aligned to NSQF (National Skills Qualification Framework) & approved by National Skills Qualification Committee (NSQC) - National Skill Development Agency (NSDA), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India.
