An MoA was signed between Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDIL) and Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET): CSTS, Ranchi on 13.03.2023 for “Providing Skill Development Training in the field of Machine Operator.

NEW DELHI- An MoA was signed between Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDIL) and Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET): CSTS, Ranchi on 13.03.2023 for “Providing Skill Development Training in the field of Machine Operator to 80 underprivileged/unemployed/underemployed youth from Jharkhand state through CIPET: CSTS” under CSR of CMPDIL(HQ), Ranchi at a cost of Rs.68 Lakhs.

The MoA was exchanged between Shri R.K. Mahapatro, GM(HRD/CSR), CMPDIL and Shri Pravin B. Bachhav, Joint Director & Head, CIPET: CSTS, Ranchi.

This project is in addition to the ongoing skill development project for 80 candidates at CIPET, Ranchi in FY 2022-24.
Forty beneficiaries would be trained in Machine Operator -Plastics Processing (MO-PP) and forty in Machine Operator -Injection Moulding at CIPET, Hehal, Ranchi. The courses will be of six-month duration including boarding and lodging, aligned to NSQF (National Skills Qualification Framework) & approved by National Skills Qualification Committee (NSQC) - National Skill Development Agency (NSDA), Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India.

Skill development program enable the youth to upgrade the skills and gain industrial exposure and expertise, securing employment in Plastic engineering sector.

On this occasion, CSR officials of CMPDIL(HQ) including Shri S. K. Thakur, Chief Manager (P/CSR), Shri Jasbeer Singh, Dy. Mgr (CD/CSR), Smt. Safina Parween, Dy. Mgr. (CD/CSR), Smt Rani, Clerk and officials from CIPET, Ranchi namely Shri Masoom Haider and Shri Shahnawaz Ahmad, Admin. Asst. were present.
