CONCOR achieved a remarkable feat
New Delhi: In FY 2021-22, Container Corporation of India (CONCOR) achieved a remarkable feat, moving a staggering 47.69 million tonnes of cargo volume by rail. This is a significant increase from the previous year's figure of 41.8 million tonnes, and it represents a 13% growth.
This achievement is all the more impressive when you consider that it would require over 5.2 million 9-ton trucks to achieve the same volume. This means that CONCOR has helped to reduce the number of trucks on the road, which is a major step towards a more sustainable India.
CONCOR is committed to continuing its growth and innovation in the coming years. The company plans to invest in new terminals and wagons, and it is also exploring the use of new technologies, such as blockchain and artificial intelligence. CONCOR is well-positioned to play a major role in the development of India's freight transportation sector, and its success is a positive sign for the future of the country.
