Continuous ambient air quality measuring machines are installed in SECL Johila

Madhya Pradesh, Umariya: CAAQMS installed the continuous ambient air quality measuring machine in SECL Johila. The Johila area inaugurated a continuous online ambient air quality measuring machine (CAAQMS) by Regional Officer, M.P. Pollution Control Board, Shahdol Shri Sanjeev Mehra on October 19, 2020.
The chairman of Johila area and Mr. H.S. Pandey General Manager were presented at the inauguration ceremony. This ceremony was started by planting plants.

The Johila area inaugurated a continuous online ambient air quality measuring machine (CAAQMS) by Regional Officer, M.P. Pollution Control Board, Shahdol Shri Sanjeev Mehra on October 19, 2020.
Mr. Sanjeev Mehra, mentioning the low level of pollutants in the area and the pollution standard, also appreciated the fact that the only instrument in the entire Umariya district has been installed by SECL, Johila region.
This instrument has been installed at the General Manager Office Building by SECL Johila Area Norozabad. The cost of this device is approximately Rs. 5000000.00 (fifty lakh) and is installed by Mumbai-based Company Msars Environment S2A 0 India Pvt Ltd. This tool has been installed by the SECL Johila area for environmental awareness and public awareness.
This device is regularly measured the amount of 05 pollutants (PM-10, PM-2.5, Sulphur E-Oxide, Nitrogen Oxide, and Carbon-Monoxide) in the ambient air of the Umariya district. The display board of this device has been installed on NH-43 (Umariya-Shahdol Marg). With the installation of this tool, the citizens of the Umariya district will be able to see the level of pollutants in the air quality at any time. This device has been linked to the Environmental Security Center of M.P. Pollution Control Board Bhopal to monitor online.
Various sub-regional managers, departmental chairpersons, officers, and other staff of the Johila region were present in the above program, who were informed about the working system of the ambient air quality measuring machine.
