Cooperation between HEC and Cascade Technologies Russia
RANCHI: HEC has signed MOU with cascade Technologies for manufacture of Special Track machines for Railways. The Russian firm visited HEC from 5.7.17 to 7.7.17. They were impressed by the manufacturing facilities and product profile of HEC, catering to the needs of Core industries, i.e., Mining, Steel, Defence, Space, Railways.
MOU envisage technology transfer and assistance in design, manufacturing, testing and commissioning stages of product development for Indian Railways. Both the company intend to set up Special Purpose vehicle (SPV) at HEC, Ranchi for railway track machines. These machines will be marketed to other Asian countries also.
HEC-Cascade Technologies team met Jharkhand State Government top officials and showcased the working of vacuum machine. The machine is extremely versatile in ease of operation, fastness and can remove toughest debris be it in the form of gravel, dust, mud, etc even in most difficult approach condition making cleaning an enjoyable experience.
Discussion between HEC and Cascade Technologies has been extremely fruitful and together both companies are destined to rewrite history of Indo-Russia cooperation which will not only give a boost to Swaccha Baharat Abiyan but also take Railway maintenance and track laying activities to a completely new level.
