CPCL conducts Internal Strategy Meet 2022
The strategies on Operational Excellence, New Growth Frontiers, Sustainability Development, and Smart Solutions for Business Excellence were presented by four multi-disciplinary teams guided by senior executives of CPCL.
New Delhi: CPCL conducted an internal Strategy Meet on August 26-27 at Yercaud near Salem, Tamilnadu to discuss the various strategies for achieving growth, sustainable development, and improved profitability with action plans to be future-ready.
Inaugurating the Meet, Mr. Arvind Kumar, Managing Director, CPCL said that such Meets provide a platform for rich knowledge transfer which is the need of the hour to develop realistic and smart corporate strategies for Business Excellence.
Mr. Rajeev Ailawdi, Director (Finance), Mr. S. Krishnan, Director (Operations), Mr. H.Shankar, Director (Technical), and Mr. Venkateswaralu, Chief Vigilance Officer, participated and provided their valuable inputs.

During the meet, the initiatives for Operational Excellence, Quick wins for Margin improvement, OPEX reduction measures, Initiatives for Asset Integrity Management, Sustainability Initiatives, Speciality products development, Green Hydrogen Obligation & strategies to comply with GH Mission, and Net Zero initiatives were widely deliberated with a path forward.
Mr. Anish De, Global Sector Head - Energy, Natural Resources & Chemicals, KPMG, an acclaimed energy sector expert delivered Guest Lecture on 'The future of Indian Refinery and path to Net Zero' on virtual platform.
