CWC Organized Hindi Pakhwada 2020
Bangalore: A Hindi workshop and Prose/Poetry-reading competition was organized by the Central Warehousing Corporation, Regional Office, Bangalore.
Activities ranging from Hindi workshop to various competitions were also organized at the Central Warehousing Corporation Regional Office, Bangalore on the occasions of Hindi Pakhwara - 2020 during 14-09-2020 to 28-09-2020 to enhance the interest in the employees towards uses of Hindi in the office. These were Administrative Vocabulary Competition, Hindi knowledge quiz competition, Hindi Typing competition etc. Hindi prose-reading competition was also organized on the occasion in which Rajbhasha Officer; Chanda Gupta from KIOCL Limited, Corporate Office was invited as the judge. The competition was divided into two parts (Hindi and non-Hindi speaking). A total of 3 awards were held in Hindi language and a total of 4 awards in non-Hindi language.
A Hindi workshop was also organized for officers and employees on the occasion of Hindi Pakhwada. About 35 employees enthusiastically participated in the workshop, following the criteria of social distancing in view of Covid-19. Chanda Gupta, Rajbhasha Officer KIOCL Limited delivered lectures at the workshop. In the workshop, the employees were encouraged to prepare the note sheet , Drafts and correspondences etc in Hindi and Emphasized the use of Hindi for the promotion of National Language in official work. It is worth mentioning that the General Manager of the Regional Office Shri Shivanand Rai is trying to increase the use of Hindi in the office, for which a conducive environment has been created. Moreover, Employees and officers will also have to constantly strive.
