Distribution of start up fund for women empowerment
Bankola: Bankola Area of eastern coal fields organised a program on 07.03.2020 for distribution of Certificates along with a cheque of start up fund to women trainees of Unnati Project under CSR.
UNNATI - The road towards development and women empowerment is a project where 150 women were trained on sabai grass products, jute products and tailoring. The project was started during 2017. On the eve of International Women's Day ie on 07.03.2020 we distributed completion certificate to these women and handed them a cheque for start up fund. The project also intends to open a production unit and a market outlet so that they can sell their products.During the program female employees of Bankola Area staged a beautiful Dance drama on women empowerment and a blood donation camp led by female donors was also done.
The program was innaugurated by Sri Prem Sagar Mishra, CMD ECL as the Chief Guest and Sri J P Gupta, D(T) PP as Guest of Honour. Sri Niladri Roy, TS to CMD and Sri M K Singh, GM W&CSR, Sri Tamal Kumar Sarkar, General Manager, Bankola Area and Sri R C Mohapatra, Addln General Manager, Bankola Area along with female employees of Bankola Area graced the occassion.
