DMRC all set for a global project; reaches 'Invitation to Bid' stage for Tel Aviv Metro project in Israel
New Delhi: Delhi Metro is now all set to go global as the world-class metro has crossed the ‘pre-qualification stage’ to qualify for the ‘Invitation to Bid’ stage for providing consultancy to Tel Aviv Metro project in Israel.
A Metro network of 145 kilometres with 109 stations and three corridors is being planned for the city of Tel Aviv. The consortium involving Delhi Metro will bid for designing the project.
The other members of the consortium along with DMRC are Poran Shrem Engineering and Appraisal Ltd, at Rites Limited and Hasson Yerushalmi Consultant (1997) Ltd.
DMRC is currently involved as a consultant in three corridors of the Dhaka Metro project in Bangladesh. Delhi Metro is providing consultancy for sectors such as design, construction supervision, procurement support, tender assistance & training.
Earlier DMRC was involved as a consultant for the Jakarta Metro project. In addition, Delhi Metro has extensive experience in providing consultancy to almost all operational and upcoming Metro projects in India.
