DVC adds 500 MW thermal power generation capacity
KOLKATA. The Damaodar Valley Corporation added 500 MW thermal power to its capacity by commissioned the Bokaro Thermal Power Station today. DVC had added 1200 MW (2x 600 MW) thermal power to its system in 2016.
A DVC statement said it was the largest power generating utility in eastern India having total installed capacity of 7787.2 MW in thermal and hydel power.
