EESL Signed an MoU with Gujarat Gas
New Delhi: Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL) has signed an MoU with Gujarat Gas Limited, an Indian natural gas distribution company of Gujarat State, on 24th June 2019. Under this MoU the Company will be responsible for reducing energy costs and enabling access to uninterrupted power, cooling and heating.
In a statement, EESL said, 'Our MoU with Gujarat Gas Limited can unlock Gujarat's potential for trigeneration, a highly Environment-Friendly technology. It will reduce energy costs by 35-40% and enable access to uninterrupted power, cooling and/or heating. Using up to 80% of input energy (vs. 40% for conventional gensets), trigeneration is ideal for industries with large-scale power, heating & cooling needs (e.g. hospitality, health, IT). It will support increased share of natgas in India's energy mix.'
