EIL carried out 'Prabhat Pheri' at Maharana Pratap Swarn Jayanti Park
Gurugram: Engineers India Limited (EIL) carried out a 'Prabhat Pheri' on Sunday, July 10 at Maharana Pratap Swarn Jayanti Park, Gurugram As part of the Swachhta Pakhwada celebrations.
The EIL team distributed hygiene kits to morning walkers and the general public in the park and sensitised the public on the issues of urban cleanliness, hygiene, and urban forestry to realize the Hon'ble Prime Minister's vision of a clean and green India.
On the occasion of Swachhta Pakhwada 2022 Director (Finance ) EIL delivered a message said, "On the launch of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan on 2nd October 2014, Hon'ble Prime Minister gave a clarion call of 'Clean India' and implored upon citizens of our country to work towards this Mission. Over the last eight years, remarkable success has been achieved in this mission and a sense of responsibility for keeping our cities and towns clean and green has been evoked amongst us through this Mission. Over the years, the Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan has evolved into a Jan Andolan with grassroots level participation across the Country. Starting today, the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MOP&NG) is celebrating Swachhta Pakhwada 2022 from 01st July-15th July.
EIL as part of this campaign is organizing various activities, competitions and awareness and outreach programmes during this fortnight. I urge upon all our stakeholders to participate wholeheartedly in these events to make this Swachhta Pakhwada a great success. I also implore upon everyone of you to make cleanliness a way of life, both on personal and professional front. Let's make cleanliness a habit."
