FACT bagged 11 Safety Awards this year
The awards were awarded by the Department of Factories and Boilers, Government of Kerala
New Delhi: Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), a government-owned fertiliser and chemical manufacturer under the ownership of the Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India has bagged the majority of the Safety Awards this year.
The awards were awarded by the Department of Factories and Boilers, Government of Kerala
-Industrial Safety Award for providing secure working environment in the category of very large industries with more than 500 employees.- Udyogamandal Complex
-Best Safety workers - Shri. Romeo George and Shri Mahesh Oraon of Udyogamandal Complex
-Best Safety Committee- Cochin Division
-Awarded by the National Safety Council – Kerala Chapter
-Suraksha Puraskar under the category of very large chemical factories - Udyogamandal Complex
-First Prize for Table top Mockdrill and Safety Skit. - Udyogamandal Complex
-Award for publishing the best article in e-suraksha, Quarterly Magazine - Dr. Babu Jose, Dy General Manager (Production), Udyogamandal Complex
-Best Safety Officer - Shri Riyas Moopan, Sr. Manager (Safety),Udyogamandal Complex
-Best Safety Observer- Shri K C Paul, Asst. General Manager (Civil), Udyogamandal Complex
-Safety Poem Competition- Shri Vinodan P, Engineer (Production) Udyogamandal Complex
