FACT records profit of Rs. 352 Cr and PBIT of Rs. 597 Crore
During the year the Company has achieved a turnover of Rs.3259 Cr as against Rs.2770 Cr during the previous year.
New Delhi: During the Financial Year 2020-21 The Fertilisers And Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), has recorded an all-time high operational profit of Rs.352 Cr and PBIT of Rs.597 Cr.
During the year the Company has achieved a turnover of Rs.3259 Cr as against Rs.2770 Cr during the previous year.
Highlights of the year:
• Factamfos (NP 20:20:0:13) production of 8.61 Lakh MT is an all-time high record surpassing the previous best of 8.45 Lakh MT during 2019-20.
• Ammonium Sulphate production of 2.46 lakh MT is the all-time high record surpassing previous record of 2.38 lakh MT in 2000-01
• Factamfos sale of 9.23 Lakh MT is all-time high record surpassing previous record of 8.46 lakh MT in 2000-01.
• Ammonium Sulphate sale of 2.51 Lakh MT is all-time high record surpassing previous record of 2.50 lakh MT in 2000-01.
• All-time high Factamfos production at FACT Cochin Division (6.46 Lakh MT) surpassing the previous best of 6.41 Lakh MT in 2019-20.
• The Factamfos production of Udyogamandal Complex (2.15 lakh MT) is also all-time high record surpassing the previous best of 2.07 Lakh MT in 2000-01.
• All-time high City Compost sale (13238 MT) for the year (Previous best 13103 MT during 2018-19)
• Total fertilizer sale of 13.50 lakh MT is a record in last 20 years
• Import of 6 parcels of MOP (1.61 Lakh MT) is all-time high record.
The company is expected to continue the momentum in the production and marketing front during the financial year 2021-22 also. The Company has scheduled a restart of Caprolactam operations in the month of August 2021.
Maintenance activities, installing of online effluent monitoring facilities, and trial run of the Plant have already been successfully completed. The resumption of operations of the Caprolactam Plant is expected to increase the turnover of the Company by Rs.500 Cr and profit of the Company in the current financial year.
