GAIL brought order value of Rs. 2593 cr through GeM in FY 21- 22

New Delhi: The GeM has transformed the procurement of goods & services of GAIL. Transparency & efficiency are guaranteed through equal participation in GeM. In Financial Year 222 GAIL has brought an order value of 2593 crores through the Government e-Marketplace GeM.
In FY 2019-20 the order value was 62 crore which was increased by Rs. 1033 in FY 2020-21, also awarded by Government e-Marketplace (GeM) for making the highest procurement of Rs 1,033 crore among Central Public Sector Enterprises through the GeM portal in 2020-21.
In FY 21- 22 it recorded the value as more than double the last order value.
