Mr. R K Jain, Director (Finance) of GAIL (India) Limited

New Delhi: Mr. R K Jain, Director (Finance), GAIL India Limited, India's leading Natural Gas Company has been awarded the "CFO of the Year Award 2022" at the Global Refinery & Petrochemicals Congress (2022) and Downstream India Excellence Awards 2022 in recognition of his stellar leadership, pathbreaking initiatives, and impressive achievements.

In December 2021, he assumes the charge as Director-Finance of GAIL. He has been with GAIL as a member of the GAIL family for the last 30 years.

Jain has joined GAIL as a management trainee in 1992 and rose through the ranks on account of his dedication & skill. Until recently, he held the position of Executive Director (Finance & Accounts).

About GAIL

The company owns and operates a network of approximately 13,340 km of natural gas pipelines spread across the length and breadth of the country. It is also working concurrently on execution of several pipeline projects to further enhance the spread. GAIL commands ~70% market share in gas transmission and has a gas trading share of over ~50% in India. GAIL is also expanding its presence in renewable energy such as solar, wind and biofuels.
