GAIL scored more than IOCL, wins bid for Gurdaspur-Jammu Natural Gas
Two bidders namely, GAIL (India) Limited and Indian Oil Corporation Limited have submitted their bids.
New Delhi: India’s leading natural gas company, Gas Authority of India Limited has successfully won the Gurdaspur – Jammu Natural Gas Pipeline.
Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board in a Public Notice dated January 6, 2023, invited online Application cum bids on single stage two bid system from the interested and eligible entities for authorization of the Gurdaspur - Jammu Natural Gas Pipeline under Regulation 5 of PNGRB (Authorizing Entities to Lay, Build, Operate or Expand Natural Gas Pipelines) Regulations, 2008.

Two bidders namely, GAIL (India) Limited and Indian Oil Corporation Limited have submitted their bids.
The technical bids of both the bidders were evaluated and accordingly, both the bidders were declared technically qualified.

As per the preliminary evaluation of the financial bids, it appears that GAIL (India) Limited has the highest composite score and is the successful bidder for the Gurdaspur – Jammu Natural Gas Pipeline.
