Google Cloud appoints Rahul Sharma as head of APAC Public Sector Business
Prior, he was in NASSCOM’s Executive Council from 2019 to 2023, where he led the development of the National COVID response platform and embarked on initiatives to upskill the Indian IT workforce.
New Delhi: Rahul Sharma has been appointed as Google Cloud's Managing Director for public sector business in Asia Pacific, paving the way for the company's strategy and execution with government and education organisations.
The incumbent holder comes with over 30 years of experience in regional leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS) APAC public sector business, AWS India and IBM, and his expertise lies in advocating technology for good with leadership extending to industry organizations.
