HCSL signed MoU with IWAI for development of Ship repair facility at Pandu
MoU signed for the development of a Ship repair facility at Pandu on the banks of the Brahmaputra river.
New Delhi: Hooghly Cochin Shipyard Limited (HCSL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cochin Shipyard Ltd has signed an MoU with the Inland Waterways Authority of India for the development of a Ship repair facility at Pandu on the banks of the Brahmaputra river.
The new facility is expected to fulfill the need for repair facility/dry docking in this region.
The MoU was signed between Shri Rajesh Gopalakrishnan, CEO, HCSL, and Shri S V K Reddy, Chief Engineer, IWAI in the presence of Hon'ble Union Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon'ble CM of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma Shri Madhu S Nair, CMD, Cochin Shipyard and other dignitaries.
