IGL and DTC signed a long term agreement to supply CNG
For the supply of CNG, Indraprastha Gas Limited and Delhi Transport Corporation signed an agreement for ten years.
New Delhi: Indraprastha Gas Limited signed a long-term gas supply agreement with Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC), to supply CNG for a period of ten years till December 2030 in the presence of Mr. Kailash Gahlot, Transport Minister, Govt. of NCT of Delhi. The agreement was signed today on March 31, 2021.
Mr. A.K. Jana, Managing Director, IGL signed the agreement on behalf of IGL, while Mr. Vijay Kumar Bidhuri, Managing Director, DTC signed the agreement on behalf of DTC. Senior officials of the Delhi Government, IGL, and DTC were also present on the occasion.
IGL is one of India's leading natural gas distribution companies. It supplies natural gas as cooking and vehicular fuel. Established in 1998, the company operates primarily in the Indian state of Delhi. While DTC is the main public transport operator of Delhi. It is one of the largest CNG-powered bus service operators in the world.
