IGL flagged off first ever long range CNG bus

New Delhi: Shri A K Jana, Managing Director, Indraprastha Gas Limited & Shri Amit Garg, Director (Commercial), IGL today flagged off India's first long range CNG bus at its Metcalfe House CNG Station, New Delhi. In co-ordination with Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, these buses would be commuting on Delhi - Dehradun route.
These buses have light weight Type IV cylinders which can carry 200-250 kg of CNG thus covering a distance of upto 900 km in a single fill.
