IndianOil celebrates Swachhta Pakhwada with Best from Waste competition
New Delhi: IndianOil’s Refineries Division Headquarters organised a unique ‘Best from Waste’ competition on 10th July 2022 for residents of the IndianOil Nagar, Noida and members of Swajani Ladies Club. The participants transformed wastepaper, children’s school stationery and old newspapers into usable items like handbags, serving trays, waste- bins, photo-frames, business folders, desk organizer, jewel organizer, set of paper-napkin holder & coasters.
These innovative creations are a classic example of recycling waste into a usable product said Mrs. Surekha Vaidya, Advisor of Swajani Ladies Club and wife of Chairman, IndianOil, while expressing her appreciation for the unique concept. The artworks are a reminder that waste can be converted into art with proper recycling techniques and identifying avenues for reuse.
