International Womens Day Celebrations at KIOCL Ltd
Bangalore: The Forum of Women in Public Sector, of KIOCL Limited, Corporate wing Bangalore celebrated International Women’s Day in a special way by visiting “Ashraya Seva Trust”, Old age home in Rajajinagar, Bangalore. It is the home for elderly and destitute women, those neglected by their Kith and kin. The trust also provides shelter to orphan kids who are dejected by their parents. Around 55 elderly women and 10 orphan children are taking shelter.
WIPS Team, KIOCL entertained the inmates by singing songs and later on interacted with the Staff of the trust & inmates about their health, maintenance, daily routine etc., and rendered support in the form of donating Mixer Grinder & other domestic needs to the old age home. Fruits & Biscuits were also distributed to the elderly women on the occasion.
