IRCON supported multi-skill development training center
Noida: The certificate distribution program held on 22.02.20 at S.M.S Public School, Khora Colony, Ghaziabad, showcased the vibrant CSR partnership between Ircon International Limited, Bisnouli Sarvodaya Gramodyog Sewa Sansthan (BSGSS) and the District Administration in skilling and empowering the marginalised women in Khora through sustainable livelihood projects. It is a remarkable achievement that with Ircon’s generous support, BSGSS enabled over 88% of the previous batches of beneficiaries to become self-reliant either by job placement or setting up micro-enterprises of their own post completion of training in trades like Cutting and Tailoring, Beauty Culture, Computer Operation and English Speaking.
Mr. S.K. Chaudhary (CMD- IRCON) along with Mrs.Seema Chaudhary, graced the function as Chief Guest and distributed certificates to the trainees in the presence of Dr. Subhash Chand (Executive Director – IRCON), Mr. Parag Gupta, IAS, (Adviser – NITI Aayog) , Mr. Aditya Prajapati (SDM, Ghaziabad), Prof. Mrs. Seema Pandey, Mr. Anas Ali Khan, Ms. Ritu Arora, Mr. PratapBhanu Singh and Mr. Raghu PartapPareekh. All office bearers of the NGO, including Ms. Nandita Bakshi, CEO, Sh. Lokendra Sharma (President), Anup Kumar (Director-Operations) were present. The event was covered extensively by Doordarshan.
While interacting with participants Mr. S.K.Chaudhary spoke about in detail the importance of Ircon’s CSR projects and underlined the need for inculcating hard work, dedication, values, entrepreneurial competencies and capacity building etc among beneficiaries for their sustainable development. All trainees happily shared their experience during the training and the initiatives undertaken post completion of training programmes for income generation with the support of the NGO.
